As a self-taught guitarist, I faced the frustration of learning chords from online tutorials. The constant switching between screen and fretboard disrupts focus, making the process tedious and discouraging for many beginners. To mitigate this I designed The Guitar Glove is an innovative assistive device designed to simplify learning guitar chords. Each finger of the glove features 6 LEDs, representing the guitar strings, which light up to guide finger placement. Using ultrasonic sensors, the LEDs activate only when the hand is correctly positioned on the fretboard, ensuring accurate chord formation. The glove connects to a guitar learning website, allowing users to select chords and practice intuitively.
